Paper submission

All accepted workshop papers will be included in the main SQAMIA 2022 Proceedings, published by CEUR in the CEUR Workshop Proceedings (indexed by dblp).

A selection of outstanding papers from the workshop may be invited for publication in internationally recognized journals (subject to additional reviewing).

At least one author of every paper accepted for publishing is obligated to register for the workshop. Furthermore, we expect at least one of the authors to attend the workshop and present the results described in the contribution.

Preparation of the papers and submission procedure

The papers submitted to SQAMIA 2022 can be a minimal length of 6 pages and should not exceed 12 pages. Papers that are less than 10 pages long will have to be labeled as short in the proceedings as per the CEUR rules. Papers should be original contributions and should not be accepted or submitted elsewhere until the decisions of the SQAMIA 2022 program committee are announced.

All contributions should be in PDF format and should be submitted electronically via the EasyChair submission system before the deadline.

Authors should use the CEUR-ART template, available in Latex, Word and Libre Office variants. Please use the single column layout. A zip archive with the source files is available from CEUR. There is also an Overleaf template for users of that system.

Copyright Transfer Form

For the publication of the proceedings, it is necessary to have an agreement from all the authors. Publication on CEUR requires the usage of Creative Commons licences, to which you need to agree using one of the following documents.

  • If all the material in the paper is yours use the regular form PDF
  • If you have used third party materials, you need to sign the third party materials form PDF, and provide proof that you the rights to publish those

Either form used must be signed by hand. Electronic signatures are not accepted by CEUR, due to the lack of international laws that acknowledge them. Specially, for the duration of the pandemic, CEUR allows for non-physically signed forms, but with a signed note. These need to be filled in on the computer, and then photographed with a hand written note. See an example picture from CEUR.

Submission

The final version of the paper (PDF) should be sent by mail to sqamia@dmi.uns.ac.rs together with a single zip archive which contains:

  • Source files of the paper (Word/ODT/Latex), as well as any figures, code listings, or additional materials needed.
  • Log of changes that addresses changes according to reviewers’ remarks, questions and suggestions (if any). Failure to comply to reviewers’ suggestions may lead to changing the decision about publishing the paper in the proceedings.
