===== Laboratory =====

In may 2002, Dr. Ljiljana Popovic, Aleksandar's mother, donated to the Department 5000 EUR for the further improvement of teaching conditions of computer science studies. The donation was spent for purchasing of two notebooks and one beam projector.

In October 2002, the biggest and the oldest computer laboratory at the Department and the Faculty (and one of the oldest at the University) was named after Aleksandar, (Laboratory 'Aleksandar Sasa Popovic') who spent most of his working hours there.

Laboratory was opened on December 30, 2002.
